This full-day, in-person workshop is designed for participants interested in strengthening their analytical skills and understanding how empirical methods can be applied to the study of economic, social, political, and organizational phenomena.
Through an accessible introduction to causal inference and a range of applied examples, participants will explore how methodological concepts can be translated into concrete empirical research strategies.

Valentino Larcinese is professor of public policy. He holds a laurea in Economic and Social Disciplines from Bocconi University and a PhD in Economics from LSE. He has been an associate professor at Bocconi, an economist at the Bank of Italy and has held visiting appointments at several universities, including MIT (Cambridge MA), Bocconi (Milan), Sciences Po (Paris), Universitat Autonoma (Barcelona), Universita’ Tor Vergata (Rome).
